Come enjoy the bounty of spring during the Mother's Day "Wild Tea" Party at Roaring River State Park. Guests will enjoy warm herbal teas, cool beverages and light finger foods made from wild plants native to our state. The woods are full of delicious and nutritious roots, flowers and greens. We will discuss how the people of the Ozarks have used these wild edible plants to feed their families and heal their sick.
This program will begin at 11 a.m. at the CCC Shelter in the picnic area off of Hwy F. It is free and open to the public. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather.
